SKYEN helps to air out more in the winter-time

October 22, 2024

The magic of SKYEN makes indoor climate-related issues drop with 29 pct. points.

Vejle Municipality's SKYEN project has transformed the indoor climate in childcare facilities, significantly improving staff well-being. Facing high absenteeism in 2022, the municipality identified poor air quality, particularly high CO2 levels, as a key contributor. To address this, Vejle implemented the SKYEN system across four institutions, aiming to improve ventilation, reduce symptoms like headaches and fatigue, minimize airborne infection risks, and enhance overall well-being.

Solution
Following consultations with ÅBN, the municipality selected the SKYEN system, including its installation and indoor climate ambassador training. This solution was rolled out across four institutions.

Results
The results were remarkable, with 96% of staff actively integrating SKYEN into their daily routines. Satisfaction with the indoor climate increased from 61% to 77%. Reports of indoor climate-related issues like fatigue and headaches dropped from 81% to 52%. Moreover, the percentage of staff feeling healthy at work rose from 54% to 63%. These changes, driven by more consistent and effective ventilation practices, significantly improved workplace well-being. Notably, 70% of staff would recommend SKYEN to their colleagues, showcasing its impact.

This success story highlights the transformative effect of the SKYEN solution on creating healthier, more productive environments.
