This brewery used AI technology from IBM to improve their processes and minimize waste. Sugar creek brewery wanted to decrease their waste in their production. They were especially struggling with their fill levels where some beers were filled too much while others were filled too little resulting in a lot of spill and rejected bottles.
With IBM cloud, AI and Watson IoT it was possible to monitor the level of each filled bottle and matching that with the metrics at the time where the bottle was filled. This meant the system would quickly learn which metrics to use to fill the bottles to the optimal level.
