Water cutting

In this case, Noux Node worked for a customer who makes high precision water cutting machines. They have a fleet of machines around the world.

Besides the “normal” cloud functions this customer was attracted to particular feature of Noux Cloud, which makes it possible from the cloud to update machine recipes (machine algorithms) to the total fleet. So, from 1 central place all machines can be updated instead of updating them one by one. The same applies for the operating system over the course of the machine lifetime.

As these machines are high performance machines (with high precision) the use of the machine is followed closely to secure the longest possible lifetime. All critical wear parts are monitored in the cloud and spare part services are built around that.

With Noux Cloud this customer are equipped with the newest technologies of IoT and they are well on the way in their IoT journey.
